toast21602 Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 the real measurement is out, just measured for real today... 68ft. Don't believe it's that long? you can hit it like a 50ft jump and deck out. have fun. Quote
method9455 Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 maybe i'm just underestimating myself becuase i've done a jump that big and thought it was a 40 footer although i paced out what i thought was a 20 footer wednesday night and it turned about to be more along the lines of 35 so, yea, that jump is definately 5-10 feet longer than the jumps mountain creek had open up until today. now we have a 70 something foot hip/jump and a huge gap jump thats got to be 40+ feet but with no deck to it so if you come up short your getting hurt. and they also put up some new jibs. that park looked pretty dman good though, i'll have to hit it up sometime Quote
snorovr Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Blues not worth the drive for me either. I'm so used to hitting the 100 footers at other local mountains... Quote

Shadows Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 im a little confused here. this big jump at blue, are you guys talking about the kickers at the top of sidewinder right after the flat down rail? or at least right after where the flat down rail used to be (not sure what they changed and all) or are you talking about that on pretty big table by the flat down box (or where it used to be...after the first wallride right where you turn left...before the stairs) Quote
tretiak Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 umm theres a 53 before the wall ride 60 footer and 70 ft all in right now Quote

It was previously a tabletop, but now it is a set of booters similar to the top 2, just much larger. Quote

stevePSSC Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 That's nothing compared to the big Mo-fo booters at Blue... you are joking right? look at blues hip thing and look at that! you have no idea how big that thing is haha look at the ppl next to it.. i doubt blue has a hip that size Quote
Shadows Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 can you also use it as a jump and just clear the whole thing? Quote
Shadows Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 a super wide butter box is what i want to see them get haha Quote

romemadman Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 the booters landing from the video looks so flat i am guessing it doesn't launch u too high b/c they ahd like a 65 at okemo and the landing was sooo steep but in a way too steep if u were in the backseat too much u would just manual down the landing and u could clear the knuckle and the landing completely wiht little speed by olieing off the deck Quote
stevePSSC Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 can you also use it as a jump and just clear the whole thing? yeah you can but idk what the measurement is.. and another thing im heading to blue hopefully next sunday so ill finally get to check out these so called 70ft booters Quote
method9455 Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 i've seen pictures of VV/GG butter boxes super old school, mountain creek is past that now. yes u can clear the whole thing but i wouldn't recommend it cuz the landing is steep and if you clear it, its flat. Quote
MetalMulisha Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 Justo what is that song in your vid, pretty catchy i must say Quote
