AtomicSkier Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Well, freeridintre just HAD to spoil it for me, Bode came in 5th, and Rahlves in 10th.... Quote
NJSkiFamily Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Women's moguls was a bust for the U.S. My husband was saying that in World Cup soccer that the continent that hosts the cup does really well. I'm wondering if this will be true for the Olympics - that the Europeans do really well this year. U.S. did really well in SLC in 2002. Quote
Schif Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 I just read this stuff on MSNBC's website. It said Rahlves skipped his last training run because he felt so good and Bode was spotted in a bar around midnight. Quote

Bode left the bar around midnight, then he left his trailer at 11am for a race that starts at 12noon...Didn't inspect the course... Quote

skidude Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Because I'm sure he did training runs Thats what I thought too...But then again, in 24 hrs (especailly after course work) stuff can change....Look at Blue yesterday at 7pm and today at 7pm Quote
ThinkSnow Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Yeah, I'm quite glad bode came in 5th. After all the talking he's been doing it's good to see that he wasn't able to get the job done. Maybe 0 medals will make him think about what he's saying and doing. Quote
NJSkiFamily Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 I'm catching up on reading my Sunday New York Times and the sports section mentioned that Bode is sporting a beer belly. Let's see what Bode has to say for himself now. Quote
pyro_boarder Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 (edited) I want to see another american win, it seems like every one is talking about Bode. People need to realize that we have other racers too. Edited February 16, 2006 by pyro_boarder Quote

jamielynne611 Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 im really not trying to stir up drama, but i love bode...i think he's an amazing skiier, (granted he's a kid and makes stupid decisions, says stupid things, and embarasses himself)...let's give him a little credit....here's a great article... http://www.boston.com/sports/nesn/wilbur/s...less/index.html Quote

I think most people are just calling him an A-hole. Quote
