AtomicSkier Posted February 25, 2006 Author Report Posted February 25, 2006 Sorry to get back on topic but I don't read this much. I was at Blue Sunday morning too. Take it easy on the patrollers, most can recognize skiers in control and those out of control but attitude is usually what gets you the ticket. Then we don't feel bad about it. You say Mark said you can go fast on any other run - as long as you don't endanger other skiers. That part is always disputable so don't think you found a loophole in the system If you want to beat the system join the patrol...plus, no liftlines. You should have stuck around until challenge was opened. It was so soft (by Blue Mountain's standards), top to bottom. We were in control, and going slow. There was no reason for him to pull us over in the first place. I guess you have to be in a wedge to look like you're going slow. If I ever get pulled over for tucking the entire length of Razors, I'm just going to tell that patroller to talk to Mark Miller. He was at blue last night starting at 6, but we didn't stick around long enough to find him Quote
VTmark Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 i was aculy thinkging about it. but the ski patrl didn't get back to me. Quote
Justo8484 Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 why be on ski patrol when you dont even get paid? unless you need volunteer hours for high school or something, i dont see the point. there are plenty of other ways to get a pass and discounts on everything. Quote
VTmark Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 i kinda want the medical training. i like helping people and its a free pass to anywere in the u.s. and massive discounts on gear thats all tax deductable. i kinda want the medical training. i like helping people and its a free pass to anywere in the u.s. and massive discounts on gear thats all tax deductable. poconoceancity Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 Actually I think we said that everyone who lives in Coatesville is a "troublemaker" and that Allentown is doomed to the same fate. And yes, when you are a snobby eliteist like me, it gets pretty hard to keep looking down on people. I usually get a massage at least once a month for the sore neck I get. I also don't tip the masseuse.. damn dirty Coatevillians. Thanks for typing what I was thinking... Quote
Sno Mountain Skier Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I was reading through the Blue mountain forum because I miss Blue and if it was ski season I'd be there right now...for sure... I thought I would reserrect this classic 5 star thread... Its a 3 star thread now Quote
