Schif Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 That looks promising, I guess this new owner wants to at least try for a few extra days. Quote
skidude Posted February 28, 2006 Author Report Posted February 28, 2006 Or turn the 1/2 pipe into a big frozen waterslide Quote
Shadows Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 they have to have some snow to push around for the pond skimming event. i would think thats why they blwe snow. Quote
skidude Posted March 1, 2006 Author Report Posted March 1, 2006 I don't think they have to push that much around...They made an awful lot just to melt it... I am still wondering where it is going to be... Quote
LineSki Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 they dont need snow for pond skimming. I hope this is going to stay. Quote
zaldon Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 my mom said their was blown snow on most of the trails this morning Quote
stevePSSC Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 i was up at MC yesterday morning and they have good coverage and were blowing alot of snow Quote
Papasteeze Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 i was up at MC yesterday morning and they have good coverage and were blowing alot of snow all the resorts got hurt this year. they couldn't blow snow when they normally could, it is in the budget, maybe they are trying to keep things rollin - lets hope so! Metz the Jersey boy Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Yeah, let me tell you, I skied through the park last night (they didn't have fences or lollipops blocking it off). I really thought these huge mounds of snow were going to be fluff, but they're packed hard. There is enough snow in that park to lay roughly another 1.5 feet down on the whole trail. I have a feeling we're going to be going strong really late into march. This late feb. cold spell might just save eastern skiing. Quote
stevePSSC Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 my brother just got home from CB.. he said the Laurel Glade park sucks! so they used all that snow to make the park worse.. the only thing that is better than before is the pipe.. Quote
skidude Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 all the resorts got hurt this year. they couldn't blow snow when they normally could, it is in the budget, maybe they are trying to keep things rollin - lets hope so! I think over there majors times (xmas week, pres weekend) there were a lot of people around, it doesn't seem like there doing too poorly $$ wise (I'm assuming thats what you mean by got hurt)....I guess we willl have to see.... skidude Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 Doug, how did you get the passes? Seems a little strange that they would go in a CBack car and take pictures, when they have a few uhh 'unmarked' cars Quote
skidude Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 From Atomic Jeff I would sell them on here but I'd probably be sued by Camelback... You could just try a night at CB...Ever think about that? They might have a hard time sueing "doug" Quote
skidude Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 Depends a lot, inbetween lets say...5 and 8...lol I'll have a better idea a day or 2 before Quote
4 more wars Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Camelback has had MORE people there this year than last year. We've been over last years numbers for a while now... Presidents Week completed the cycle, really... Quote
