Stevo Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Holy shit man- that takes balls... even with functional eyes! This reminds me of the time my friend (niftyshifty) and i saw a blind skier at jack frost. He had a sign on him that read "blind skier" and he had a guide. I thought it was pretty ironic though, because he was wearing goggles . We saw a lot of weird shit that day- like this one lady: she was rocking no poles, and was skiing down the slope spinning around like a figure skater. (doug- you should try that down the steps next year at blue )b Quote

(doug- you should try that down the steps next year at blue )b Ha, that's ballet skiing, Stevo. Where were you in the 70's? Freestyle comps used to consist of moguls, racing, and ballet. Perfectly heterosexual guy skiers used to do the queerest tip rolls and one footed spins...it was a whole movement away from the rigid racing and teaching techniques. And I think 'Bum will be sporting 140cm ballet skis next season at Blue. A tight sweater and fancy stretch pants. Why do you think he was dieting? He needed to get back to ballet weight. Quote
