toast21602 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Here is the report from our (Me, Justo8484, FreeRidinTre) Whistler trip this week: it was sick. we got fresh snow. we dropped almost everything we could find. the park was great. food was 1/2 price at the lodge. our room was about 20 steps away from the gondola. Dan- Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Sick pictures.. Good conditions for May to. Quote
snorovr Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Yeah the drops were in such good condition for may. Only on the last day did they crap out a little bit. I dont know whats yellower, my coat or Toasts piss, disgusting... You can ski Utah, you can ski Colorado, and then you'll ski Whistler in the right conditions and you'll know whats up. Quote
snorovr Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Kevin took like 500 pics. That boy is nuts. You could actually ski to within a 300 yard walk from the base, but the last part was a walk through mud and rocks that didnt really look much fun. The run all the way down to Olympic midstation was open, we usually did that because it was so much faster than riding the gondola all the way from the top. They had an amazing year this year. Quote
gcleary47 Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 did you get to ride any of 7th heaven or spankys ladder? they were both great when i was there in january Quote
snorovr Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Blackcomb closes at the end of April after the Telus Ski and Ride Festival, then they re-open the glacier in June. Quote
