VTmark asked me to post my TR's for the summer here...so hope you all enjoy...

So after being out here in Driggs, ID for two weeks. I finally got the chance this morning to make some turns. We arrived at the top of Teton Pass around 7am. We threw on our gear and after a short hike we made some turns down through the tree's to the base of the bowl we were headed for.

We stopped to put on skins but had to wait for a few minutes for our skis to dry if we wanted any chance of the skins sticking. Then it was time to head up the moutain.

After a relatively easy skin the view was quite spectacular

Then It was time for some turns.

(Chris was lucky enough to get his picture taken)

We had had our doubts about the snow since the temp didn't drop below freezing overnight but other than being a bit slow it was just about perfect corn. So after a short discussion we headed back up for another run. I personally would have liked to do a few more but chris had to be at his sisters graduation so after our second run we threw our skis on our packs and hiked back up to the truck. It was a beautiful morning and really felt good to get turns again.

Welcome to PASR... :rock Have you had the chance to check out Grand Targhee??? Nice pics

I live almost right on the access road for grand traghee (it's about a 9 mile drive up in the mountains) but I havn't got up there yet. I look at the mountain everyday out the window. I think were gonna head up this week because they started turning the lifts for summer activities so we can get a cheap ride to the top and have a lot less skinning to do.
