Saurus Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I might be heading up for a week and a half to bear mtn in cali! Which has the best urban terrain park/meaning the sickest rails/ever. If anyone else is also heading to cali next year tell me. Quote
Saurus Posted June 10, 2006 Author Report Posted June 10, 2006 i went to bear and summit last year. Summits park wasnt the best but it was way better than any on the east coast. And basically all the rails and crap are over at bear. And idk about mt bauldy if your looking for a terrain park. You can take a 30 min plane ride from la to some to the bottom of the mtn you have to drive up. And its an hour drive to the bottom of the mtn to the top. Quote
Dan- Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I don't think skibum is looking for a terrain park... Quote
librider Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 My plans after I graduate are to move out to bear mtn and chill for a few years. I cant wait that place is my dream mountian. Or mammoth, but i hear mammoth is really really really really expensive to live at. Quote
Dan- Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I honestly don't see the point in moving to a mountain that is a giant terrain park.. Or even wasting a trip out west to ride a terrain park. I guess im not a park rat. Quote

librider Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Freeriding gets boring to me. Id rather be doing this Guess im just a park rat who doesnt know how to snowboard. Quote

YO MAN CHECK OUT MY NICE STEEZE DOWN A DIMOND. Im sorry but parks on the east coast eat shit to ones out west. Last season Bearmtn haad over 100+ jumps and over 80 jibs. And i dont see the point in spending money on a burton t9?? I could sell switches setup and with the money I could get a 2 way plane ticket out to cali, a season pass at bearmtn, and prob a 1 night stay at a hotel. Quote
Saurus Posted June 10, 2006 Author Report Posted June 10, 2006 no i didnt pick a fight with anyone. I just said i think a "t6" is a waste of money. And he menstrated at me. Quote
Dan- Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 It's called an opinion. I guess you haven't realized in life yet that not everyone is like you. Your still paying money to go up and down a hill... I don't see your reasoning for that statement. Quote

DHarrisburg Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 Way to shit on this thread, guys. Bear Mountain is one of my favorite mountains. Every time I go I have a ton of fun and learn new tricks. I wouldn't live there personally (nice place to visit but town life is echh) but I love going there. Lib, if you want to talk to me about moving out west hit me up on AIM @ dharrisburg. Quote
Dan- Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 Hypocrit I guess everyone who doesn't have your opinion is a hypocrite then... Quote
