Ski Posted September 4, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 4, 2006 Unfortunately I live in Luzerne county so I can't really get in on this issue, but I just relly hope Washo doesn't make it, Cordaro seems to be pretty cool though. We're in Wayne County...I guess the current commissioners inherited a real mess and Lackawanna County has been in a pretty bad economic downswing for years, or at least that's the way it seems from the news. When you watch a televised meeting you get the sense that the hatred between the majority/minority commissioners runs deep and involves lots of past issues. When Cordaro bashes Washo over Montage, Washo bashes him back regarding his track record of bad decisions and Cordaro seems to accept the abuse. It just strikes me that Cordaro is a really smart guy, while Washo is just in over his head and doesn't fully grasp the issues or his position. Washo is like a real-life bobble head.
