Stevo Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 It's pretty straightfoward, except on what carpet to use. Sand fill- google it. Probably the best to use Quote

LTDSNOWBOARDER Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 I have 2 questons, my first is how steep of a hill do you need to carpet board, i have an 8 foot long bench and wanna be able to use it. My second queston is how long does the snow last if you get it from an ice rink, cus i wanna try it but i dont wanna waste my time if im going to get like 3 hits on my bench. Quote

Justin Posted September 1, 2006 Report Posted September 1, 2006 Just try and get the shortest strand carpet you can find. Pile snow on top of that so when it melts you at least still have something underneath it. If you're just going with carpet, which you can do, then depeding on the angle you have it at you might need to wet it down to get speed. Quote
