I need new boots!

This past winter, I got a new pair of boots, used them for the season, but they were very uncomfortable. I tried them on a few days ago, to see if I need to get new ones, and I could hardly put my foot in. When I did, it hurt so much! My feet are very wide, but I can't seem to find a good priced boot accomodated to wider feet. Does anyone know any good brands that sell wide boots? What about stores? I really need some advice for the upcoming ski season.

Thanks,

Dave

Different models sell for different prices...You could go to a ski store, and try to find last years model for a lot cheaper than this years....(and the boots probably didn't change that much over a year).

Alright, cool. Thanks a buncha. :)

I have a wide foot. I have a pair of Nordicas and they fit awesome. They came with a liner you can heat up to mold to your foot if you want, but I didn't do it yet since I haven't skied enough in them to break them in :banghead

Go to a good ski shop like Nestors and get a good pair of boots. They are the most important thing in skiing and you shouldn't go cheap on them. Thats one thing I will not buy on ebay is boots, unless I already have a pair of the same boots in the same size that I want. Or maybe a cheap pair for grass skiing.

Why ski in a different pair for grass skiing?

And I agree, bad call to get boots online. However watch out at Nestors, some of those people have no clue whats going on (but I'm sure some do).

And those linears that heat up...I don't think they actully help with much at all...

Getting someone to fit your boot takes a lot of time, money and trips to the ski store...but if you get a pair that fits well you can keep them for a long time....

I don't. I'm just saying if I came across a pair that was different from mine, that was cheap I would buy them online. Then if they didn't fit right, they would be good enough for grass skiing and not affect my performance on the snow.

Best thing to do, just try on a bunch of boots, until you find one you like.. Whoever said boots are the most important is very correct. Don't cheap out on boots, when your feet hurt, it ruins your entire day, period.

Yea, experienced that already. But my dad says that I don't need such a nice boot, cause I am still getting taller, and my feet will get bigger, so he doesn't want to waste money every season on new boots. :banghead

Why would you they sell you nordicas if you have wide feet? In general Technica have a higher volume all around, Rossi a tighter heel cup than the Technica but pretty big up front. Check both of those out. The Vento 6 from Technica isn't too too expensive and fit my foot which is pretty wide up front comfortably. Agreed best option is to go to a good shop and have them give you a good boot fit.

most nordica boots are pretty wide, with the exception of the doberman.
