jordan Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 You beat me to it...how do you like the terrain at Loveland??? What were the conditions like? Are you still rusty? Any mad steezy air or wicked jibs? I went up with someone from TGR, and we met a shitload of maggots at loveland. Those guys are hard as hell to keep up with for an EC skier like myself, let me tell you The open terrain at loveland kicks the crap out of A-Basin's, they even had a few bump runs open, and there was some tree skiing to be had as well.. The conditions were amazing considering they didnt get any measurable snow in over a week. And, no, no "mad steezy air or wicked jibs" for me just yet. Its still to early in the season, and I dont want to go hurting myself just yet. I tent to save any really risky behavior for the spring...

Normally its the other way around my friend. the EC guys are normally faster.. As seen in just about every race event, for the most part a guy from the EC will win.

I could keep up fine on the groomers, but on the moguls, they blow me away, as they would any EC skier

I could keep up fine on the groomers, but on the moguls, they blow me away, as they would any EC skier You base this simply on the fact that you can't do moguls well, that evey EC guy sucks at moguls.. I snowboard so moguls arn't appealing to me that much, But i've seen some EC rippers in moguls. Don't judge everything on what you can and can't do. Edit, and yes it is true that EC shredders are way faster and haul way more ass then west coasters. Edited November 6, 2006 by KnuckleDragger

Maybe EC skiers handle better on ice, because the EC has it and the WC doesent, but everything else, I am almost certain that WC skiers are generally better at, because they have far more (and more difficult) terrain to practice on and have far longer seasons... Dan- Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 (edited) Look at race stats, im not gonna waste my time to prove something to you, that i know is true, believe it or not. EC sweeps the x-games aswell... WC will be better at pow.. simply because we don't get any of it. I don't think you understand what riding on ice does for you in other aspects of riding. it helps just about everything..... except powder. Edit: and don't even try to tell me a EC rider is worse then a WC rider in trees.. Edited November 6, 2006 by KnuckleDragger
Tyler Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 they say if you can handle the east coast, you can handle just about everything else....just based on the varying conditions we get here...
jordan Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 they say if you can handle the east coast, you can handle just about everything else....just based on the varying conditions we get here... i think you guys need to ski with some of the people from TGR and get back to me...
Dan- Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I think you need to ski, with me, atomic jeff, and doug... We know how to go fast. I'd love to ride with the guys from TGR, but they are 2000 miles away. Someday though, when i move out there in a few years.

Dan- Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 don't care, ill crush you all either way, so you choose... I better buy some race wax then.
jordan Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 I better buy some race wax then. one condition, you need to put the race results in a sticky in the main forum
AtomicSkier Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 don't care, ill crush you all either way, so you choose... stick with powder one condition, you need to put the race results in a sticky in the main forum you do NASTAR at all?
jordan Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 stick with powder you do NASTAR at all? nope, but i used to race
Dan- Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 (edited) one condition, you need to put the race results in a sticky in the main forum If your that into it.... I didn't even know we were racing, i thought the whole thing was to show you that EC riders can ride fast.. But if your that serious about it. Now that i think about it, i don't know what your trying to prove, because last i checked your home is in the East aswell.. So what exactly are you trying to prove to us here.. You called me out when I said it was tough for me to keep up with the TGR guys, so if I prove that i can ski faster than you, then that means you wouldnt have been able to keep up with the TGR guys who happen to be west coast skiers, thus disporving your origional statement...
