whiteface slides breakdown

highlighted in the east coast issue of ski. i found this in the whiteface boards, and i must say i really want to get up there and ride these things this season. i missed them by a day last year

the slides alone have more vert than blue. nuts.

Those slides are craaazzzy. I was there last year and just looking at them was crazy. I was there when they werent covered with snow and they have so many rocks and trees and shit its hard to even think about how you could ride them. We also talked to some guy and his son on the Gondola and he was saying how people have died from riding them.

Pretty cool stuff, I wish they had an really high resolution picture to look at, so we could see a little more detail. I'm not sure if that viable with the PDF format though.

whiteface is scheduled to open november 24, they also state they will be open no later than thanksgiving...

i used to have high res shots of the slides but i cant seem to find them. they seem to be the hardest part of any mountain to find good if any photos for since they are rarely open. id love to see some video from there.

Whiteface is actually a suprisingly good mountain if you catch it earlier or later in the season when it's not iceface, I really liked their slides and their parks are pretty good!
