Gurp Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I just a rumor that big boulder is trying to open THIS WEEKEND with 2 trails 1 being a rail park. Im not 100% sure about that but it looks possible. Quote

jordan Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 cough cough ski snob cough cough.. have you ever skied little boulder, tannenbaum, or edelweiss??? jordan Quote
Shadows Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 yes, i have, and i think there was snow on it. i dont know, not sure, i was having too much fun skiing Quote
jordan Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Yup sure it's not as good as NY or VT but it's better than going to the mall or watching rap videos while eating broccali with cheese sauce..You can still carve turns down any of those runs...and ski switch..do some buttering and rail slides...and build a kicker...Jordan if BB opens this weekend are you hitting it up? You can post a trip report on Teton Gravity..get closer to day 100...and if you don't have your skis with you, rent a pair and support BB/JF... Do you think Big Boulder will be open evenings next week...November 27th to December 1st? 1. I will definately be at BB on friday if they open up to hang out at least. I doubt ill be skiing though. I have a couple pairs of my old skis here i could ski on, but my only pair of boots is in CO. If i can score a pair of boots somehow, ill ski. 2. BB has never been open in the past till after christmas. I dont know if PEAK plans on changing this, but that is how it always was in the past. 3. It would be suicided to post a BB opening day TR on TGR and you know it Jordan Quote

Schif Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 How much do you think it will cost to go to boulder for the day friday? Quote
Schif Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 $32 youth or $40 adult (19+) Thats a lot for 2 trails and some rails. Quote
jordan Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Thats a lot for 2 trails and some rails. when you are the only game in town, you can charge what you want. I really dont think they are gonna cut prices for opening day. the price does include the movie premier though Quote
