Appalachian Ski Mtn. is proud to be open, riding on 2 slopes today, and we are offering free lift tickets to all skiers and snowboarders from 9am-4pm! We are skiing on Lower Big Appal as well as Appaltizer, with a 10-15" base. Terrain Park riders will enjoy our several features placed throughout the mountain, including 2 16 ft Flat Boxes, 1 20 ft CBox, a 16 ft Flat Rail, a Barrel jump, and the famous DVS Picnic Table, courtesy of Boardparadise. Don't miss out on any of the fun, we hope to see you up here on the snow soon!

EDIT: Here is another down in North Carolina that is open.

 

On Friday we offer three sessions of skiing, day skiing from 8:30am - 4:30pm, twilight skiing from 1pm – 10:00pm and night skiing from 6pm until 10pm with a morning or afternoon half day rate also available. Holiday rates will be in effect from Friday, November 24 through Sunday, November 26 and midweek season passes will not be valid Friday, November 24 through Sunday, November 26 as well.
