n0xidee Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Looking for some advice on getting new skis. Money is not really an option but I really don't need top end products. I only ski in the Pa/Nj area taking maybe one trip up to Vermont. So I am basically skiing on small mountains. I don't do much park so I'm not looking for twin tips. I mostly just do trail runs. I am 5'10" and weigh like 150. Please don't get away from this topic or try to sell me any because I already have a place where I can get a good deal. Thanks in advance Quote
AtomicSkier Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Atomic Metron's for a great all mountain ski that can truly do it all Quote
n0xidee Posted December 4, 2006 Author Report Posted December 4, 2006 Oh also i am an intermediate to advanced skier. I can do pretty much every run in Pa easily but i wouldn't say I'm an expert cause I havent been anywhere but here. Quote
snorovr Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Nordica's Hot Rod series are one of the better midfat all mountain boards out there. I like the Mod's if your an intermediate to advanced skied, and the Top Fuels if you're really rippin hard on them. I haven't been on this years, but last years just blew everything else I skied by K2, Volkl, etc.. away. Quote

method9455 Posted December 25, 2006 Report Posted December 25, 2006 Check out the Elan's, they are really great skis. For what you are asking for, there are so many different great skis you are going to get a hundred answers. Every brand makes at least 2 or 3 skis that are right for you, so if there are plenty.
