ColoradoHigh Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Another warm up is in store for next week . It might be in the 50s as a high for Blue Bell (where I live) but up in the poconos, low 40s, no change. (Hopefully). If it does warm up so much, that they mountains have to close, I need to compensate, and you guys will have to help me. But they are saying a white Christmas is in order though NO WARM AIR! NO WARM AIR! NO WARM AIR! Quote
toast21602 Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 still better than the temps we had last week when i was wearing shorts to class... Quote
ColoradoHigh Posted December 4, 2006 Author Report Posted December 4, 2006 But seeing the word Warm in December isn't good. At all. Its sad. But the 50 degree temps will be here in Philly and Montco. Not in the Poconos. I don't care about the weather down here, there isn't any mountains here. But there are mountains up in the Poconos. So lets get the cold up there! Quote

snorovr Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Saw that. Didn't wanna post it. So far though Dangers been wrong on the weather lately. Keep postin buddy you're movin in a better direction now. Quote
ColoradoHigh Posted December 4, 2006 Author Report Posted December 4, 2006 But right now, the temps are fine for the week. If the mountains keep blowing to keep the base, then hell, it will be fine for the rest of the winter. But no one else is worried about the small lil warm up? Quote
AtomicSkier Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Once the local ski areas open up, they usually stay open..I guess it will be some time until we're skiing Razors...low 40s for highs for thew Poconos isn't bad..with clear skys that means below freezing temps at night. I bet they'll fire up the guns at Blue in an hour or two and they might be able to blow for the next 60 hours straight with maybe a few hour break when the afternoon temps rise into the low to mid 30s... doug, the guns have been on for awhile now Quote
OutCold Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 So What, Camelback went around the clock... Quote
ColoradoHigh Posted December 5, 2006 Author Report Posted December 5, 2006 Is Blue Mountain even making snow on the trails they are trying to open with? Quote
DHarrisburg Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 But no one else is worried about the small lil warm up? Once you realize that there is absolutely nothing you can do to change the current weather your life will become much easier. Stop checking the forcast every twenty minutes and accept the fact that mountains will open at some point and there is little to nothing you can do to change that fact. Quote
Dan- Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 And stop looking at long range forcasts.. What happened last time you did that. SEVERAL INCHES... And we got how much.. Thats what long range forcasts tell you. Nothing.. Quote
