soccer911 Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 wat type of skis do u need to slide on pvc? the pvc im getting is a layer of pvc .. not a pvc pipe so r my regular skis w/ edges fine? or do i have to get skis w/ o edges and were do i get them CHEAP. thx Quote
jeff Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 yea your regular skis should be fine. you might want to take a file and just dull down the edges underfoot. Quote
pyro_boarder Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 If your getting sheet stock look into HDPE or UHMW. Both are much more suitable for top sheet and from some quick research I did it looks like HPDE sheet is actually cheaper than PVC sheet. Quote

CaptDave Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Reading these two threads gave me my good laugh for the day. Seriously, Soccer911, as Nike would never say ..... JUST DONT DO IT. lol Quote
Metz the Jersey boy Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I feel as though this could find its way onto collegehumor.com... By the way, to get a better slide on the pvc rail make sure that you put vaseline on the rail. Quote
sirfrancisbacon9 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 (edited) hahaha i just read the whole old school binding post what a joke, should of saved that money and bought a learn to ski video. also, is there a twin with no edges? i know forum made a snowboard with no edges for urban, that would be sick if there was, would save me a ton of money.
