Alright, I finished packing in just 10 minutes. I leave for Jay Peak on Tuesday at 3 in the afternoon. It will be a longgggg 8-9 hour drive. I will probably be at the Peak at about mid-night to 1 o' clock. I don't believe the place I am staying has internet. :banghead but if it does, I will try to post a report daily with pictures and all! :wiggle

Did anyone here any word on the trails they MIGHT be opening for Tuesday?

THEY HAVE INTERNET!!!! We have confirmed internet connection. So I will take pictures, and put it into a new thread for the executive trip report.

Well on the drive, we encountered LOTS of traffic in the New York City area, but we got out of it. A few hours later, we were in Vermont! It snowed a hella lot on the drive in Vermont. A good 2-3 inches fell in Jay Peak, and more is on the way, with a high of just about 28 degrees, it should be a fun time on 10 trails.

10 trails is better then NOTHING :wiggle:rock :rock :rock

Here it is folks, the first TR of my trip.

I don't have any pictures right now because I forgot the camera in the lodge. There wasn't anything "nice" to take a picture of so nothing to miss out of.

So the first run did, I went on the Flyer Quad and did a fairly good long Blue trail. Then I took a shuttle van to the Jet. The jet was pretty nice. I had troubles getting down the first five times because it was huge piles of loose granular snow, and I couldn't get my turning legs on :banghead . But after five times I got the hang of it, and was flying down it. I skied it a good 10-15 times and then I went to eat lunch. I decided that I was REALLY tired, so I just skied an easy green and lapped it like 20 or so times. One time I made 84 turns :rock:woot:wiggle In total I made about 30 runs. I skied from 9-4. A VERY nice, FUN first day at the Peak.

It was tough. Tommorow Morning, I will go to the Jet first thing so I can beat the scraped off snow :wiggle

Sounds nice....I agree to that notion that granular snow kills your leg muscles

times 2...mad sweet and low sugar snow is tough to conquer..

Times 3. Sweet and low blows the G word. I'm so jealous. Have a good time and don't push too hard and hurt yourself. You have the rest of the season still. Can't wait for the pics.
