Gurp Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Who is gonna be riding BB parks this year? Hopefully theyll have a sick park set up since they're getting alot more new rails and boxes. It seems like its gonna be an awesome winter so maybe theyll have a good halfpipe as well. Quote
insomniac Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 It's only us three in this forum haha Quote
AtomicSkier Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 It's only us three in this forum haha I'd contribute, but i've never been there Quote
skidude Posted October 11, 2004 Report Posted October 11, 2004 I've been there, and taken one or 2 runs down there boardercross, but skipped most of the big stuff, just cause I don't think gus would take nicely to me breaking my leg in the park Plus its pretty bad for ski bases (the impact from landing and the limination don't go too well). As for frost, they have some nice trails, all short, but a good variation, and when there is natural snow you can ski some glades Quote
soldier32 Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 thats awhile ago then since uve been there if the boardercross was up. they didnt have the boulderkross last year. so it must have been two years ago that u were there and thats when they were just starting to get good. u gotta go there this year when its gonna be off the HEEZY! Gurp Posted October 12, 2004 Author Report Posted October 12, 2004 derrick, stop being all black and ghetto. Quote
skidude Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 Haha, Well I went for a race, and just took a run down. Anyway they ran there race extremely poorly, and I don't think they are going to be given another chance to redeme themselves. Quote
insomniac Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 How can you race down Big Boulder? It's way to small.... Quote
skidude Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 It was a slalom race, It was one of the shorter and flatter courses, but it was ok. Quote
Gurp Posted October 12, 2004 Author Report Posted October 12, 2004 i dont think big boulder should be constidered a mountain. Its more of a sleep hill. We should change the name to Little Pebble, not Big Boulder Quote

soldier32 Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 haha yea bb blows for trail riding, but if ur like me, gurpskier, and insomniac and dont care as much for freeriding, then big boulder is definetely the best place. they have the best parks in the poconos no doubt Quote
Gurp Posted October 12, 2004 Author Report Posted October 12, 2004 actually, i like jack frosts park at the end of the year better than big boulders. Quote
soldier32 Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 yea but frosts jumps can never compare, and the reason that park was good was because they brought all of the stuff from bb over to frost haha Quote
Gurp Posted October 13, 2004 Author Report Posted October 13, 2004 Ture but it was what 2 rails? 2 rails dont affect the park that much. i liked it cause the park actually had a flow to it. big boulders park u had a hard time finding runs in the park cause u usually had to hike across to hit things. And Jf had more flow cause they have the room for it. BB has to cram. And you stole the Little Pebble thing from me. Theif. Quote
soldier32 Posted October 13, 2004 Report Posted October 13, 2004 yea but cramming allows for more choices on ur runs Quote
Gurp Posted October 14, 2004 Author Report Posted October 14, 2004 carmming is bad dumbass. It make it so to hit certain thing u have to hike across the trail and it also decreased time to set up for the next hit. Quote
