fluffy Posted January 11, 2007 Author Report Posted January 11, 2007 good if not a great point. Immediately upon opening BB had a problem with poachers, that seems to me an indication that there has been an abuse going on for awhile. BTW fluffy - you have the wrong home mountain listed in your profile. How do you know what my home mountain is Papa? Quote
method9455 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 There is a huge problem with poachers at JFBB, more than any other mountain I've seen. The pass validation is an extension of that. I know its lame, but it still takes less time to get from the parking lot, through pass validation, and onto the slopes at JFBB than just walking from the parking lot to the mountain at Mountain Creek. uninc Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 for employees its because they prob had ppl show up get the job then never work and ride for free this way if u dont work for x amount of time they can cancel your pass Quote
anthony Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I hope this coming rain doesn't kill the new snow. Hopefully they have been blowing snow each night before this weekend comes. Quote
bigdaddyk Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I hope this coming rain doesn't kill the new snow. Hopefully they have been blowing snow each night before this weekend comes. They blew a shit load of snow this week. The rain and temps this weekend aren't supposed to be as bad as last weekend. Quote
pyro_boarder Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Well if certain season pass holders didn't let all their friends and neighbors borrow the season pass all the time, then there would be no need for pass validation. When one person in a family buys a pass and then lets all his brothers use it when they want to go out then a problem is created. Thus, they now have pass validation. It just makes good business sense. There is no reason for that at all, put a picture on the pass and have employees check it. Rampant poaching is created when the employees don't do their jobs. Quote
