ThinkSnow Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 I just want to say on that first pic, it would have been better if I had actually zoomed in, but at that point I couldn't feel my fingers too well, thus no zoom. It was quite nippy. Quote
skidude Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 AHHHH Evil pieces of sh*t. I think those were the 2 worst runs (and coldest ones) of my life. I couldn't hold an edge or make a nice turn. Hopefully next race will be better. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted January 12, 2004 Author Report Posted January 12, 2004 haha we waited forEVER to see you go (at least 40 or 50 racers) but we got to talk....we were pretty cold too! Quote

nick malozzi Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 skidude: I AM SPANDEX MAN! Actually, he'd be Polyester Knit Bonded to Breathable Membrane Man. yea well it looks like spandex.lol looks like spandex, tight like spandex. then to me it must be spandex, lol Quote
skidude Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 From what I hear spandex gets very hot or melts or something with a lot of friction.....So if you could imagin falling down a steep GS (something like cliffy) with spandex melting onto you...It may not be fun...Altho ur balls would get nice adn warm Quote

It was fun watching the races, but that section where the first pic of skidude was where EVERYONE was messing up, cause you were getting decent speed and then it called for a quick quick turn, we saw so many people get on their tails or fall in that section.. Ski Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 Skidude in an earlier race... A better run, Skidude? Quote
skidude Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 That would be right after I hooked a tip and Gus was telling me just to finish to get the points down. I think I could have cut a good 3 seconds off that run if I didn't get DNFed the first run. Quote
