stevewww Posted January 11, 2007 Report Share Posted January 11, 2007 I have made 3 boxes in the past and have usedplexiglass to coat the top, but this will not work with the C-box I just built. Does anyone have any ideas on what and/or how to surface a C-box. I was thinkin like lots of thin flexible pipe but let me know what you guys think. I think you would cut a section of the plexiglas to fit the curve, and work in smaller sections. I'm sure some on who has done it can shed more light though. The cut you make in the plexi will turn into the oustide curve for the next 4 foot section, assuming you don't have an elliptical tranny. parkbuilder Posted January 11, 2007 Report Share Posted January 11, 2007 here was my cbox last year, cut the plexi in sheets to the shape of the c as close as possible, then after cutting a few sheets into the "c" shape install them as multipule panels. an easy way is to lay the plexi over the box and using a marker, outline the width and curve of the box, then repeat the process step by step, install and shred!
