snorovr
Go for some of the new Line Invaders. The ones with the green swirly type topsheet are this years, and the ones with the pink and blackish topsheet are last years. You don't want last years cuz they had a bunch of problems with the skis coming apart, but everything is said to be fixed on them this year, and I actually think they year would be one of the better years to buy them because they will probably overbuild them after all of the problems they had last year to attempt to rebuild their rep. You can find them for as cheap as $250 brand new, and they are built real strong for rails and boxes, and have "butter zones," which makes them ideal for doin presses and whatnot. Do some research on em, you'll probably like em.

method9455
If your on a budget the Line Invaders are DEFINETELY the way to go. You can pick them up for a hell of a lot less than the K2's. Just avoid last years Invaders - Line had mad problems last year with delaminations - although so far this year nothing coming back to the shop. Don't forget you have to add bindings in there two so that is going to raise the price. Ask the shop you go to for a binding recommendation, there are so many different ones and the prices fluxuate a lot depending on what the shop has or doesn't have in stock.
