Ski Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 It's not sticking, but we had some awesome snow squalls come through creating five minute blizzards. Trees are down all over the place. I know it's not really winter yet, but WINTER FREAKING RULES! Quote

AtomicSkier Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 ski, this morning i saw a snow storm on weather.com, didn't look to far north of you Quote
Ski Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 Yeah, it's been one of those days where the clouds are just streaming out of the NW and sometime dump sleet and sometimes snow. And I started a five week vacation today, so my skis are waxed... Quote
skidude Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 Why start your vacation now? Why not wait until like january? Quote
Ski Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 I'm between sports seasons. I'd be more than happy to ski instead of work at basketball games and wrestling matches in January, but I'd probably end up homeless and have to break into Atomic's lake house to survive the winter. Quote

Ski Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 (edited) Some Catskill ski areas got a pretty good coating this morning. I'm just due west of Tanglwood, which is about 45 min. north of CB. Yeah, you'd think I'd have one stupid camera with me... Edited November 5, 2004 by ski999 Quote

Ski Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 Ah, but by the end of a sports season, holding a camera is like holding a shotglass the morning after a drunken binge. Quote
