Well I left my house at around 7:00. It took less than hour to get to Bear Creek. My dad and I waited for the lift attendants to open the lift up. We waited for about 20 minutes :banghead . We got 2nd chair to start the day.

For our first few runs, we went over to Timberline before they closed it off for the race team. It was nice corduroy and VERY grippy. Once they closed it for the Race Team, I hit up Extreme (The black diamond under the new quad). Extreme was VERY rutted up. I think they JUST opened it today, and it need to be groomed out a few times. After 2 runs down extreme, I went down Sasquatch. It was a VERY good slope. Very nice grippy snow. I was bombing it.

Then I took the main quad up, and did Sasquatch a few more times, until it got icy in spots. I did Extreme again, but this time I caught an edge with my right ski, as I was doing a fast turn. I fell, and slid a good 10 feet. I had tons of snow up my back, under my jacket.

During the late morning, they reopened Timberline to the public, and thats the trail I did for the rest of the morning session. (Ticket was for 4 hours. I skied till 1:30 :naughty ). The last run I did off the of the new quad was Sasquatch.

All in all, it was a great day to be out skiing. I had TONS of fun. It felt good being back at Bear Creek after a whole year :rock
