Stash161
I just bought another deck for rails, i bought a capita 152 stairmaster, and a set of new Burton CO2 Bindings. I have to use a the sperate 4 hole disk to bolt them to the board. The screws dont seems to be going in smooth, is it possible that for some reason these burton binding screws arent threaded the same as the capita deck. Or is it just because both these items are brandnew and you need for kinda force them???? WTF !
kragan
I would not force them. Thats what I did with my first board and ended up completely stripping it and not being able to mount any bindings They should go in easy, if it feels like you are trying harder than you should have to, somethings not right. I would take it to a shop for some assistance, generally they have all sorts of spare screws/parts laying around that they would help you out with. Glenn
You shouldn't have to force them at all. I'm 98% sure the screw threading is standard across all manufacturers. Is it difficult to tighten from the start, or is the problem it goes in 3/4 of the way and then gets really hard? If the later is the case your screws are too long. You can either grind them down or purchase new shorter screws. Regardless a shop will be able to help you.

I'd try fitting the screws without the baseplates to make sure they go in when you have the screw perfectly square. If not, try other screws. Tognar sells them, as do other places i'm sure. method9455
It is a standard thread (M32 actually, metric) - but it is possible there is a burr on the screw, or there is a glob of lock tite covering up the thread. Bring it to the store and get new screws and try it - if you screw up the inserts you need to retap the board which is a bitch and kind of hit or miss.
