Another Wall Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I remember that last year there was talk of putting in some big 50 foot booters. I was wondering if you guys were going to try to put a few in and if you were then where and when? Quote
k2rider2690 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 the last jump in the tubing line is pretty close to 50 feet Quote
Another Wall Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 the last jump in the tubing line is pretty close to 50 feet unless they have moved the jump since sunday, which i am almost positive that they didnt, then that jump is closer to 30 feet than 50 Quote
dolfman261 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 unless they have moved the jump since sunday, which i am almost positive that they didnt, then that jump is closer to 30 feet than 50 if u measure the distance from the lip to were you are supposed to land, i think it would definetly be around 50 Quote
Bobert540 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 This is a 50-60ft. jump....... it was the nicest jump I've ever it. and... Quote
Papasteeze Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 if u measure the distance from the lip to were you are supposed to land, i think it would definetly be around 50 measure lip to knuckle - not flight path........ it stops the confusion. if you claim that you jump 50 foot - better have a tape measure and camera to prove it. AgentRider21 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 the end jump is more like 30 Quote
Ski_Unit_19 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 ^its more like 35 but you can easily take it 50ft Quote
dolfman261 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 those pics of that jump are sick. Were is that? It would be nice if bear would have something like that but i dont think bear is big enough to get speed for something like that. Maybe if you start near the top of the lift and have the jump in the middle of black bear park you can have enough speed. It would be real nice to have that kind of jump Quote
BC Iron Works Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I cant claim any size of a snow feature due to the fact it can change by the hour, but i can say the piston bully is 62ft when the tiller and blade are down, when i groom it the tiller and groomer are on top and the blade hangs over the knuckle, that will tell you around how big it is. ANDY Quote
k2rider2690 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 so lets just say that its around at 50 footer than? it doesnt really matter since we dont have to go around bragging out how big are jumps are like some mtns haha Quote
Bobert540 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 (edited) The photo's are from Alpine Meadows in Lake Tahoe. I just measured the jump myself, so if you want to know the exact measurement...PM me Edited February 7, 2007 by Bobert540 Quote
nick Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I dont care how big that last jump is, its prolly the most fun and best jump ive ever ridden, its big eough that you can throw things like 9's off it but its not so big that it scares you. Quote
