AtomicSkier Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 where is that kids form? did he leave it back at the house, in the hall? Quote
Ski Posted November 15, 2004 Author Report Posted November 15, 2004 The little 'Dude's crazy good these days. Quote
skimom Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Ski999: Next time I'll take a pic of you and skidude ripping down together...partners in crime. Quote
Ski Posted November 15, 2004 Author Report Posted November 15, 2004 Scaring people is fun! Â But no thanks to pics with him. I've been humbled enough in my life by my ex-CAT. Quote
Glenn Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 where is that kids form? did he leave it back at the house, in the hall?  <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  The little 'Dude's crazy good these days.  Thats twice now you've tried to rag on skidude and ski999 shot you down! Quote
AtomicSkier Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Thats twice now you've tried to rag on skidude and ski999 shot you down!  they both know I'm joking. When I say ski999 sucks, he knows I'm just joking, cause he'll take anyone to town, skiing. And skidude is OK, i mean, my form is better, but the dude will get there. Quote
ThinkSnow Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Lol, I've seen the 'dude tear you up! Quote
skidude Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 I was also wondering where my form was in that pic  Anyway that was on the flat part of the trail, and we don't like flat  Anyway Jeff, It was great, there were lots of lil kids, they all missed you Quote

nick malozzi Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 jeff, the dude isnt the only one i remember takeing you to town on the trails. i recall leaving you in the dust. oh oops i forgot we aren't supposed to talk about that cause i am "out of control" when i go that fast, lol. sorry jeff! i had ta! Ski Posted November 15, 2004 Author Report Posted November 15, 2004 I don't really mean to stick up for the little 'Dude, it's just that I'm blown away by how good he is. If he doesn't screw up, he'll be top 30 in PA this race season. But if he enters any late season ASRA races, I'll be doing my best to psych him out, beat him and then make fun of him afterwards. Â yes, behind all my jokes, skidude is really good. I've been on lifts with my friends, and skidude was approaching on a trail, and without me saying anything the all say "wow look at that kid", and it's true, skidude rocks. I dream to one day have the racing abilities that skidude does Ski999 is also an amazing skier, both greg and i can attest to that, he layed down some amazing turns on the first day Challenge opened at blue, and it felt like skiing in a vibrator, but ski999 ripped some amazing arcs. They are both amazing skiers, and I would like to see whether skidude can beat ski999 this year, as well as myself smoking skimom. Â Nick, you WERE out of control, going straight down Cliffy. Ask greg about my "race". I was doing tight little SL turns, while this kid next to me was in a tuck, and he couldn't pass me...to funny. I don't claim to be a great skier (even though i am ), but i can hold my own. Quote
nick malozzi Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 i dont see the point in turning if your trying to go fast. muhahahaha and after all, its who gets to the bottom first isnt it? haha. Â but i know you are a good skiier jeff, but i gotta bust your balls. be glad i dont bring up other things to bust on you about. Quote
Ski Posted November 15, 2004 Author Report Posted November 15, 2004 The good thing about freeskiing days are that you and I, Jeff, ski a similar pace and can have a blast just looking for some open spaces and trade off who makes it to the lift first. On a race course, though, the 'Dude EASILY has me by 5 Nastar handicap points. And when you talk about handicaps in the teens, 5 is a lot. Quote
skidude Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 Hmm Called downhill skiing for a reason, not traversing skiing or turning skiing   Anyway Ski, I hope to go to an Asra race, and show you that your mind games don't work with me But Ski, you were making some pretty nice turns, especailly around that boarder that almost ran over my tails  Let the busting continue.. Ski Posted November 15, 2004 Author Report Posted November 15, 2004 Okay...here's one for you to think about, 'Dude... Quote
skigurl Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 When your freeski racing stright is the best way. But if you want to test someones ability to use the mountain go to Camelback on a saturday afternoon mid season. The race starts at the last big jump in the park. and ends on the second turn of Nile Mile... you have to be good at skiing fast, turning around people, going stright, and getting through lift lines fast...lost of fun to see friends do it and take pictures when they are trying to get though the lift lines Quote
LineSki Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 we usally race from the birches to the third turn on nile mile on a busy day Quote
skidude Posted November 15, 2004 Report Posted November 15, 2004 If you are going to do that, you should just start on a dimond or something. Maybe Hump, as it has a lil pitch, and usually a roller or 2, then to Nile Quote
skimom Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 You guys have me totally lost...it sounds like you are racing up hill. Quote
