Papasteeze Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Park Report please. With only one month left I was wondering if they have improved any. Quote
toast21602 Posted February 18, 2007 Author Report Posted February 18, 2007 the park sucked. biggest waste of my time. Rhodo park. holy crap. what a waste of an area that uses a park pass. setups were sketchy at best, with lips that buck you in the air and down hard onto the rails. the flat rail, has magically turned into and S rail because they must have hit it 15 times with groomers.. POS. that geometric shape that they decided to throw in at the top would only be good if you could use it as a shelter to hide from the wind. the FDF had a buckbuck lip on it and no landing. same with the FD, unless you came in at crawling. the jumps were alright, but had no landings. if people at Blue complain about no landings, holy shit, go to camelback and you will love everything that Blue has to offer. the C box was the only thing that was setup well with a decent landing. the wall.... wont ever talk about that. and then there is the pipe.... i dont want to hear about camelback's pipe being one of the best in the area ever again... to require a park pass to ride that is ridiculous. that thing shouldnt even be open in the condition that it was in. it looked like it had cancer. i'm sorry to complain, but when a mountain institutes a park pass because they are going to have an "expert level park", i expect an expert level park, with more than 3 hits in a run. not to mention hits that are setup properly. thats my vent. on another note, grooming was amazing and the other runs were pretty fun, kinda short, but fun. lots of variety compared to other places. ski911 Posted February 18, 2007 Report Posted February 18, 2007 Wow, this is amazing. 4 or 5 people on here whine about the park "sucking" and the 20 or so I spoke with while watching them yesterday said it was pretty good. You guys better go back to the LG park and practice a bit. Flame on. Quote

At best even from the riders on here who I respect for being worlds better than me found at most 1 or 2 features that were decent or fun. Rhodo is a small step forward in a LONG road (well at least at this pace) to get the park up to shape even for pocono standards. Quote
