DiMe Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 How typically are the Saturday crowds? I havn't been to boulder since earlier in the season. How long are the lifts lines, are the parks usually ridiculasly packed? Is it busier in the day or at night? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Quote

I can't really answer for BB, but I would go first thing for freshness. Quote

I would love to but since Sat is the only day I can get my truck inspected that expires March 1st so I wont be able to head out of Stroudsburg until at least noon. Quote
meggles Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 i doubt its gonna be that bad to be honest Quote
bigdaddyk Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 I debated about going to BB Sat. morning. I always go to JF on weekends, because it is bigger, spread out more, and handles the crows better. I would imagine that the lift lines wouldn't take too long, since there are three chairs next to each other in the center. The triple on the far east might have the longest line, since there are two other chairs on the west side of the mt. Quote
Barb Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 Go from 8am-12. You can get a lot of runs in before it starts filling up (usually around 11am). Quote
rideordie7 Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 I was at BB this past Saturday from 12-4. The lift lines were INSANE. I have major beefs with them for this. There was no line control whatsover. Singles were getting on a triple chair 2x in row while the lines were heading up the hills. JF has much better control over this with ropes. BB didn't even have the ropes on their triple or their twin doubles. Plus, their one double wasn't even running. Prolly not enough employees for a competition weekend. Quote

Papasteeze Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 i doubt its gonna be that bad to be honest comparitively to every mountain we have been to this season - it is the smallest of crowds and lines. Quote
rideordie7 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 That can be expected for that time and day. I am aware of this. But my problem was that there was no one controlling the lift lines. Single after single were getting on a triple chair. This was the first I've seen of this. Very disappointed with the lack of lift attendants. Quote
