TR 3/4/04

hey just got back from a long day at bear creak. Not as long as i would of liked but their is a reason for that....

 

I pulled into the parkeing lot around 8:20am and booted up. on the first lift ride up i see RighthandedLefty and Liftie. so i spend a good bit of time with them. First run low carvers on Kodiak nice fresh cord. really fast I wish i would of waxed my board. the last time i waxed it was befor i whent up to elk. so my K2 is in need of a good wax and i could tell. i edvuntailly dectied to switch to my park/rock board just because it was getting semi crowded and i didn't want a scrach on my K2. When i was swiching boards i told litfie to hook me up with a chick wile i was their and she yells at this chick (i'de give her an 8.5 or a 9)

 

liftie "Hey, whats your name?"

Kara "Kara"

liftie "You single? 'cuse my friends Mark here is"

Kara "yep I am"

Liftie " really you into kinky shit 'cuse this guy is really into it"

Kara (with a big smile on her face) " Oh i love that stuff"

by this time i think my checks are going to explode their so red.

Liftie " Maybe you would like to ride with up (osit was somthing to that affect.)"

Kara " Aculy i'm a liftie here i'll see you around i should be on the mail quad."

 

so thats the end of that conversation. we edvuntailly see her laster in the i forget the conversion.

Then TP4 shows up. all four of us ride for a wile and then work our was over to the f chair. ride some more. edvuntialy liftie and righthandedlefty leave. so its just me and tp4 we ride some moe and i get Kara's phone number. But i think i put it in wrong 'cuse it was a weird area code. I later gave her mine and my myspace. Me and him ride somemore realise i suck at park/pipe. ride more go back over to the other side to do the moguls on grizzly they were spaced out just right for snowboards today. then hit saquach to kodiak and the end of kodiak i wreck. I'm not sure what happend but i know i raged dolled for a wile and then slid on my back. at this point the "snow" was that grandular little ice balls and when i slid on my back for a good 50-60 feet it just tore my back up and it was bleeding for a wile. i waited and after that i only took two more runs it just hurt to much to stay. In all i did 48 runs for 24,480 feet of vert. all in all a good day...

Mark you tard! You have no game whatsoever... I'm better at picking up chicks than you are. Why do you think you got her phone number? Oh yeah... because IIII asked for it - not you... Basically, Mark asked me to help him find a girl who rides/skis. He doesn't care as long as he can take her with to the mountains. There was this first girl, Heather, but she wasn't so nice. She didn't care to tell me her name until I chased her down the mountain. Then this guy comes up to us and I was like, 'screw this.' Then Mark had to get his old board, but change his bindings since he's a cheapskate and only has one pair. That's when we saw Kara. She is cute. Anyways! After I ask if she's into kinky stuff, "Jesus" comes running after her, saying he's into it too. Mark's got competition. He would have lost it if I didn't talk to her. We made our way over to F Chair eventually and Mark goes on the inside so he can talk. But does he? Not really. We come back again and still, silent bob... more concerned about TP4 playing his jay... I talk to her and she's all sweet. Very nice. So eventually Mark says a few words to her. Next run, I ask if Mark can get her phone number. She says sure. Does he? No. Once we get to the top, he gives me his cellie to get her number. Are you kidding me? I can't find her when I get to the bottom so I give Mark his phone. We take off and leave Mark and TP4 throwing snowballs at each other. We stayed for a while after that, but didn't ride with Mark anymore. Oh well... BTW --- this is liftie.....

Getting phone numbers doesn't mean anything..it's getting with the girl during the short window before she sobers up..otherwise..you call the girl a few days later and she's like..."Doug who???"
