Ski Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Congrats to a PASR lurker---Mike---who rode Dr. D's wax to first place in last night's Sno Mountain Thursday Night Race League, as well as our own Bobert540 who claims to have no racing background, but has been either beating or threatening NASTAR pacesetter times every since chucking his twintips in the trash and hopping on Volkl P60's... Sno Mountain's race staff does an amazing job of getting great courses set no matter what the weather, which makes it something you can count on. I've raced in beer leagues where you always had to call the night before to see if it was a 'go'. This was the final week of racing, but independants will again be welcome next season. It's also a secret way for someone to both try the course as well as have a cheap night of skiing. Race entry is just $8 and the all mountain lift tickets is just $7...but you have to be sure to get your race runs in or they call Camelback Rangers to come up and kick your ass off the hill. Thanks again to Jim (who chicks really dig) from Sno for inviting us to his course and thanks to Dr. D for making some smoking fast waxes... See you guys next season! Quote
