Glenn
Went to camelback to try to get my pass today. There was some mis-communication between my parents and me, and long and short of it is, I didnt have proof that I'm in college right now when I got there, so I couldn't get my pass. Anyways, the put the hippo and the battleship in the rhodo. The 20 and 40 are in the laurel. There was no sign of the boxes from last year, but there was like 10-15 foot flat box in the "No parking, no stopping, no standing" Lot behind the learning area. Other than that nothing to exciting. No snow anywhere, my brother was wearing a t-shirt. It was really quite depressing.

Glenn
moving rails is camelback's idea of improvements <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Well, arguably, this was done because the halfpipe was widened, and the wouldnt have room for everything. What this measns, potentially is less room for jumps, which would suck, because they had a pretty limited number late year, and most of what they did have sucked. LineSki
how does the pipe actually, wide? lol
Glenn
how does the pipe actually, wide? lol <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Â Actually what I said was the pipe was widened, putting it in passive voice, so the widening was being done to the pipe, not the pipe doing the widening. The_Public_Enemy
I think he meant to ask if it's actually wide, haha. Â Anyway, I've given up all hope on CB and on this weather. Nothin I can do about either...

I've been in the pipe all of 2 times ever, and it was a lot of work, and not that much fun. Edited November 28, 2004 by dthmtluncrn

It takes a while to get the feel, but after that it's awesome. But it does tire you out a lot quicker than rails or jumps. It's a lot harder to throw big tricks in, too. I've got a lot of respect for people who can rip in the pipe.

It just seems kinda limiting. Oh, well. To each his own right?

soldier32
yea pipe riding is great but all the pipes around here pretty much suck. its impossible to keep speed in them with how small they are. i love pipe riding too but around here its so hard to get more than 2 feet above the lip since you cant get any speed
