go to moonlight basin too while your there. there are no lines whatsoever, and its north-facing which holds snow very well.

 

if your into steep & deep trees, go to moonlight basin. if your into steep ripping runs, go to big sky. if your into both, do yourself a favor and pay the extra 20$ for the lone peak pass.

 

also, moonlight basin added a new lift this year called the headwaters lift. it has access to some of the sickest inbounds terrain ive ever seen. i was there last year, so i cant really tell you how that terrain is, but from looking at it in person it looks really good. and if you dont want to go to MB, the runs off the lone peak tram are fantastic.

Thanks for all the tips....I have a friend that instructs at Big Sky so I'm hoping he can hook me up......Another buddy of mine instructs at the Yellowstone club....he's gonna try to get me some riding time there.I'm really psyched to check it out!!!!!!

If you run into "Andre", an instructor at Yellowstone, tell him that a former student of his at Big Mountain said "hi". (He used me as the "example" to the others in my group, who didn't ski as well as I did for "Ladies' Day".)
