Rowsdower Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 If you put in a 6 seater on a hill like bear creek you might as well just put in a giant conveyor belt.... Quote
skeer_tomas Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 If you put in a 6 seater on a hill like bear creek you might as well just put in a giant conveyor belt.... Â haha. Could have sworn they had one on Cub Run.... Quote
GNU_rider Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) I think they should just make the lift their replacing a park only lift so then it'll cut the amount of people on the quad in half; it would also move a lot faster because no one would really be falling or struggling to get on or off the lift. Â Also it could be a good way to make park passes happen, in order to use the lift you need a park pass any opinions on this? Edited November 30, 2007 by GNU_rider Quote

snowboarddude Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 something i would like to see up at bear this year is them having there rails dug into the snow deeper   last year i got really sick of having big drops off and around the rails Quote
mollyskeez Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 Its cause the rails are soposed to be that high. If you burried them up it would be no fun. Quote
snowboarddude Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 i get having them a little high but the box is like 3 feet out of the ground 1 or 11/2 would be better    i wish they would have it more mixed some in deeper some out alot    a good example is boulder Quote

JibHonk Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 agreed who doesnt like a little varietyo and have the 420 box in the snow a little more like boulder i dont think its meant to be a pro. feature its usually where kids learn a lot of new tricks and who wants to learn new stuff with the possibility of a 6 foot drop onto Eastern ice pack Quote

Word, high rails also keep the little kids off of 'em besides they weren't that high I think the subaru was a little excessive but otherwise height was solid for the rails. Quote
lilmill Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 i think the main thing with the height is how deep the landing gets dug in with all the kids who shouldnt be on em making huge divits after every good box. which makes it alsmost impossible to land a frontside or anything when your not landing flat base pointed down the mountain. they should put like shovels by teh landings so taht we can fix them ourselves cause god knows teh park crew wont make it to em in any timely fashion Quote

Just learn to pop more. I know you arent a snowboarder but if the rails are set up so they arent nuttable on skis it is a whole lot easier to progress. Quote
snowboarddude Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 i'm not a skier but i think it would make it easier to learn tricks or a board too Quote

i agree with high rails and that the subaru was sorta stupid but even with high rails your gonna have kids go up the ramp and jump off the side of it screwin up the jump Quote
JibHonk Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 it was fine that way too what i said is it should be switched up everycoupel weeks Quote
snowboarddude Posted December 4, 2007 Author Report Posted December 4, 2007 i'd like a couple of rails with drops but i think they should have more progression rails that are closser to the ground and littler gaps and littler drops off at the end Quote
b0arderb0y123 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 a variety of gaps for the rails would be nicelast year most the rails last year had no gaps except a few so bigger gaps this year would be welcomed Quote
snowboarddude Posted December 5, 2007 Author Report Posted December 5, 2007 i think bear needs to go with more of a varity Quote
Tyler Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 i wouldnt mind seeing some more gaps, last years werent bad though. i would like to see some more urban style down rails though. Quote
b0arderb0y123 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 ya some urban downrails and some downs or flat downs off of big jumps like they had idk 2 or 3 years ago would be nice Quote
GNU_rider Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 I agree down slanting the rails would be great with an urban style approach. Quote
