Justo8484 Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 midewest superpark... and they are giving away surfboards? sunday river has the heat harvest, but yeah, i think there would be interest from skiers around here, but would there be interest from any of the ski areas? Quote
Bobert540 Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 Sick Vid...... I am sure one if the resorts in the area could step up, now the question is will it ever happen? Quote
toast21602 Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 and the answer is most likely no... although Boulder is "under the radar"... so ya never know. Quote
Papasteeze Posted April 2, 2007 Author Report Posted April 2, 2007 and the answer is most likely no... although Boulder is "under the radar"... so ya never know. I haven't seen anyone motivated enough in the parks marketing department in our area, except for Shawn from JibLab or Johnny Powder at Buckmans that has the whereforall to pull together the sponsors necessary and organize it. I noticed that there appears to be one guy who hit all the forums with contact info for the Midwest Super Park, which btw was thier 4th Annual.. Sick event for an end of the season fling. Quote
sexkitten Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 A cool video to go along with the Super Park event. It's a large file, wait for it. http://www.hornermusic.com/alex/superpark.mov They were all skiers. Maybe a dumb question but here goes... why no boarders? Hmmmmmm. Quote
rgrwilco Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 i was wondering that also... i think one day we will see something like this in PA. the mountains know that park riding means alot nowadays, things will catch up sooner rather then later Quote
Papasteeze Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Posted April 3, 2007 They were all skiers. Maybe a dumb question but here goes... why no boarders? Hmmmmmm. Thier event was the day after. I think actually, the snowboarders comp is a 2 day event that ended today. Quote
Papasteeze Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Posted April 3, 2007 is that the one in japan or some place like that? Quote

sexkitten Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 I rode in Japan once... back when I was a boarder if you can believe that. There was no mega pipe when I was there though. I'd have only fallen in it anyway. Quote
