I got off to a late start this monring. I pulled into Boulder's lot around 11:15 and immediately met up with PASR's biggest baddest pig, Bigdaddyk. Conditions were nice and it was freakin empty on the non jib honk trails. Nice smooth snow, and resonably grippy. Definately mid winter conditions for the beginning of april.

in the house was:

ajeff

bigdadddyk

ski

justo

freeridintre

kt

ryan miller

gurp

megan

shady shadows

big ben

and a few others i forget

I snapped a few pics for the jib honks, and they came out OK but the flat light and the lack of light made it tough to freeze them in the air. Anyway...here they are...

gurp... (i think that was him)

They did a really good job grooming. I was afraid that there would be a lot of ice, but there was hardly any. Kind of a strange day...sun, then clouds, then snow, then sun, etc, etc. Sunday should also be a great day...but as long as there is snow under my feet, every day is a great day :wiggle .

that is a shit load of snow still, I'm amazed. To think I went out (to coach) the UD sailing team already and you guys are still skiing/riding. This is why my pass is to JFBB next year.

Sidenote if you have a midweek pass does it cover the weekend now that they're closed during the week?

All-mountain skiers, racers, and people that just care about carving turns may want to thank all the jibbers out there for days like today...the only reason BB is still open and has all that snow is to cater to the crowd of park kids that continue to show up.

We have the same Polecat system at Sno that BB has and churned out a similar amount of snow, but just haven't built up the diehard base of jibbers that BB has.

Props to BB for keeping the lifts spinning and all you ass clowns that keep showin' up. The open slopes really are midwinter conditions...

Mountain wasn't too bad today. I'm hoping to head up early tomorrow because me and gurp had to peace out early this afternoon. Hope to see you all up there tomorrow.

Remember, 1pm is when they open, on Easter.
