AtomicSkier Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 no, its not the worst cam ever, cause there is sound. the sound is the key, i never watch CB's picture, i just listen, and i'll check to hear if i heard the legendary sound nope, no snow at CB Quote
skidude Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Park city has like 4 cams, and you can take control of all of them for like 45 seconds Quote
Glenn Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Yeah, I don't know how the marketing person is that pointed the cam at the sign but they should be fired . Anyways, looks like CB is yet again the weaker of the mountains in the area :-/. Quote

Glenn Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 (edited) NBC controls CB's cam <{POST_SNAPBACK}> NBC??? as in the television network people? Edited December 3, 2004 by dthmtluncrn Quote
AtomicSkier Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 NBC??? as in the television network people? yup, they own and operate CB's cam, they just allow CB to get an internet feed off of it. Fox has a cam at blue mountain, but i don't beleive its the one you see on blue's site. Quote

Then they use the excuse that "we don't operate the camera, so complain to NBC". CB could spend a miniscule amount of money and provide a nice little webcam feature, but they just can't help themselves from making a few extra bucks. They should just fire DaveK. Quote

They should just fire DaveK. haha i think you've said fire DaveK enough Well bandwidth for a webcam would be expensive for an induvidual, but for a corporation, its nothing. I mean you'd think they'd want to point at things that broadcast a good image, not pointing it at the clocktower 1/2 the time. Quote
Glenn Posted December 3, 2004 Report Posted December 3, 2004 Oh, CB can afford the bandwidth. It really wouldn't be a big deal for them to do it themselves, but ski is right. Where they can make a buck they will. Quote
