AtomicSkier
Get a load of these I am a link! i could see if it was square like a normal edge, but that would just slow ya down
skidude
That would slow ya down too much....Seems like a rip off for 50 bucks, and a slower ride. And who knows what it would do to preformance
soldier32
haha imagine sliding a rail with those
Glenn
Yeah sounds like a bad idea all around. I cn only imagine those things sinking in and not moving, plus, you hit someone with one of those bad boys, and you turn what would have been a bad accident into, a bad accident with lots of sharp teeth involved. Glenn
Not to mention, getting your gloves/other stuff ripped up when handling the skis.
skidude
And what happens if you are going for angle, and get over like 45 degrees or whatever..then you are sliding on them, and not on your edges
Glenn
And what happens if you are going for angle, and get over like 45 degrees or whatever..then you are sliding on them, and not on your edges <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nothing about thems seems right, to me it would totally throw off your sense of finding the balance point in a skate stop, and carving would get fowled up. Just sounds like a bad idea all around.
Ski
The skis in the illustration had to have come from a Salvation Army dumpster.
insomniac
I went to the salvation army around here to find cheap skis and just take the bindings off as spares incase I ever needed them, but they didnt have any. Nor any irons. I was upset.
skifreak
ha, I wounder what kind of fool would buy those Insomniac if you are serious about looking for a spare pair of skis I may have just the skis you want if your interested. I have a pair of k2 escape 4500 skis without bindings on. Used these for one season as backups and have less then 10 days total on them. Also have an older pair of 160cm head advantage skis with salomon 577 ski bindings. Bindings are old so you might want to get rid of them Let me know if you are interested lol they are just taking up space.
