Rowsdower
Basically, I'm going to take a snapshot of Bear from the webcams around sunset every day until they're open. I'll assemble that shizzy in Photoshop come December and we'll have something fun to look at. Why I make this into a thread now you ask? Why not wait until its finished to post it? Because I'm hella bored, thats why.

Tyler
nice idea, it will be interesting to see the daily snowmaking progression when that time rolls around...
Schif
Sounds like an awesome idea. The finished product will be sick!!
Timeless
nice idea, it will be interesting to see the daily snowmaking progression when that time rolls around... you'd need to keep going way past December then.

Schif
It would be cool if you kept it going through the season and into the spring. Then you would have the snowmaking process, all the daily snow movement of the season and then the melting.
Rowsdower
I'd also have to be home every day at around sunset. Dunno if I can pull that off in-season. Would still be cool. Maybe I'll just do it every morning when I get up (noon). Edited June 20, 2007 by Rowsdower

Maybe I'll just do it every morning when I get up (noon). You might want to try a different time... Keep in mind the angle of the sun relative to the cameras when you pick a time. Someone who's good with web programming couuld write a script to grab the frames automatically as long as your comp is turned on. Neat idea, though! Sort of a digital flip book.
GNU_rider
you should try and edit it into some kind of crazy time lapse.
Rowsdower
I would if I had all the pics. I wasn't as disciplined in remembering to look at Bear's webcam as I should have been and thus I have huge month long gaps. Sucks since it was a good idea... I wondered why nobody did it and now I think I know.
