First Grade Teacher Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 (edited) 2 new pairs of Salomon lab skis arrived today. They are sick. All they say is "Salomon Test SL" and "Salomon Test GS". No dimensions or any other info on them except a bunch of numbers on the base and tail. Can't wait to try these babies. Ski Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 Well, where'd they come from, the Salomon fairy? What's the story. And what makes them sick? Quote
First Grade Teacher Posted August 14, 2007 Author Report Posted August 14, 2007 Well, where'd they come from, the Salomon fairy? What's the story. And what makes them sick? Salomon hooked me up with them. I have to return them at the end of the season with my evaluation. I can't sell them. They are sick because they are new skis! New skis rock! Quote
First Grade Teacher Posted August 14, 2007 Author Report Posted August 14, 2007 Holy Crap..Who smuggled those from the ski magazine test center?? What length? What Sidecut? I'm so stoked for you... :wiggleI tapped the K2 fairy and the Atomic fairy and they were trick hoes. But the Saloman fairy gets good marks by some of the barking Bears over at E to the pick...skee...ya heard.. 165 SL, 183 GS. No sidecut info, just SL and GS. Lots of #'s but nothing that makes any sense to me. Quote

Papasteeze Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 Thats sick... All of nips skis were returned to Armada for 2 seasons, 8 pairs, not prototypes just production models. I didn't know they did that with typical GS and SL skis, thats cool. Quote
Ski Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 You can't measure that stuff? Sure you can: Angry Pocono NASTAR skier in charge of evaluating top of the line Salomon race skis: Priceless. Quote
