ski14 Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 Are they scrapping the idea of completely remodeling the lodge or just waiting till the waterpark is built? Quote
Schif Posted August 29, 2007 Report Posted August 29, 2007 Their website says they're adding a deck and doing remodeling for this season. I'd be curious to know how much has actually been done though. Anyone want to do some recon for us? Quote
xNick11 Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 Maybe ill take a ride up in a few weeks and take some pictures. Quote
ski14 Posted August 30, 2007 Author Report Posted August 30, 2007 I was up there a few days ago buying my pass and nothing was done to the lodge, but outside they had the columns up for the outdoor deck. Quote
Shadows Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 columns? what are they building a sky deck? Quote
xNick11 Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 Ya it's suppose to be made to overlook the slopes, holding like 200 people i think. Quote
Shadows Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 is it low enough to setup a lip?is it low enough to setup a lip? Quote
xNick11 Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 Ha, Probably not by hand, but I know what your thinking and I think the owners would be really mad if we did that on their brand new deck they just built. Quote
xNick11 Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 They need a high speed quad!!!!! Especially if they're going to be charging 50 bucks a day.If you really think about it, Sno's trails arn't that long. Having a high speed quad would take about a minute or two to get to the top. Im not trying to say thats bad, but when people are skiing with friends that like to talk on the lift, and make fun of people under them, ect. All they really need is bigger motors that will run to maybe about 3 minutes to the top instead of 6. Where they really need a high speed lift is where long haul is now. 12 minutes on a lift is just way to long. But for those that like enjoying the SFR, it's a perfect lift ride for them haha. Quote
xNick11 Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Short lift rides are good..I think they should have a high speed quad for the Northface and a High Speed quad for the Long Haul. Then the Northface lift will take 3 minutes and the Long Haul will take 5 minutes....If you need more time for SFR..you can always go in the woods or hang out with the lifties..I actually know a really nice spot in the woods at sno to have fun with the SFR. If you ever come maybe ill show you, cause its probably one of the most steeziest spots on the mountain. Quote
