They r starting with a few slopes and the terrain park is one of the first to get them. Also 4 trails will def be open and the snowmaking install on the new trails is already done...later... Quote
Schif Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Great news! Thanks insidesno. I am so impressed by the progress Sno has made in such short time. I can only imagine what they can do in the long run. Quote
Ski Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Good stuff... Hey, Insidesno: any inside Sno info on whether the race course is getting new lighting? Skier's right on Switch is some of the sketchiest lighting on the mountain and makes Thursday night racing pretty tough in a few spots... Quote
xNick11 Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 nice welcome to PASR...what's your street name? I'm Doug..Ha Quote
Sno Mountain Skier Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Good stuff... Hey, Insidesno: any inside Sno info on whether the race course is getting new lighting? Spike and Switch will be the terrain park this year. Quote

Ski Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Where are they racing? Yeah, where are we racing? They have to keep NASTAR on the upper mountain and we just use their timing gear....Whistler is the only alternative. Quote
Melissa Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Fantastic news re: lightening! I recently moved to Scranton and have purchased a season pass, so I can't wait to get lots of after work skiing in. I fully support all of these awesome new improvements to the mountain! Quote

I am really looking forward to being 10 minutes to the mountain! Since I don't really know anyone here, I've got lots of time to ski:)P.S. I am loving this message board--so helpful. Does anyone know anything more about the plans to put a Buckmans in at Sno? I don't see anything on Buckman's website about it... Quote

Since Sno passholders are generally the smartest and most interesting people on PASR, we'd love to hear more about you...are you a jibber, hack, newb, or racer? How long have you been skiing? Blues or blacks? And did you know that if you ever travel down to Blue you can reserve a chairlift with your own personal rapper? Quote
Tyler Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 the buckman's at sno isnt gonna be going in. A friend of mine was supposed to be the manager, but plans fell apart. Quote
