Smittysprize Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 I love the money I am saving on heating my house right now, but I got to tell you how anxious I am for the ski season. (Not for myself but to get these kids out of the house!!!!) Is it ever going to get cold? Quote
skifreak Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 This weather is driving me nuts. I'm wearing shorts right now, it's 73.2 Quote

poconoceancity Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 70+ degrees and it's been mandatory to wear long sleaves at work, since the 15th . All the guys in my town have been complaining about the same thing, but it's been 80+ down here. Quote
method9455 Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 I'm a believer in averages, I'll take my warm weather up front please. We're still a long way from snow making in PA, 6 weeks at least. So right now means nothing. No one even thinks about making snow until Halloween so not to worry just yet. Plus this week is a fluke, cooler air is coming back this week. And believe me no one likes it less than I do, I'm stuck in a room with no AC and barely any ventilation, about 100 miles south of you guys. Quote
Papasteeze Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 twas a great day on the beach this morning Quote
snowboarddude Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 look at the 15 day it is talking about snow on nov 3rd!!i mean nov 5th Quote

skifreak Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Just don't start speculating the weather, Chippy. You always seem to jynx it. Quote
snowboarddude Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 camelback might have a chance to blow in the begining of nov. Quote
jdew Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 camelback might have a chance to blow in the begining of nov. Don't look for them to start until after Thanksgiving, and only then if the weather looks favorable for any snow that is made to be able to stick around for a while. Quote
snowboarddude Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 u are probly right but it is still a good thought Quote
skifreak Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 True-dat...but I want to see Chippy posting again..it's been quiet on here without him...and Senor Skifreak has also been in lurker mode hardcore.. GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 Looks like decent cold weather in the long range forecast. Definitely bring in tropical plants and tender vegetation. Cover them with a blanket at least. Quote
