snorovr Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I always get excited on Accuweather and it never seems to be right........ BUT!!! Do some diggin' around on forecasts for Philly, Palmerton, and a few other locales and see what it gives you on and around November 9th and 10th and 13th.... yeah its a long way off but its still there... mike0100 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 3 days of rain/snow in the 15 day for stroudsburg .. i doubt anything will come from it . . but we can still be hopefull Quote
Melissa Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 OMG, I totally was looking at the weather forecast today too! Snow starting around Nov. 8th in Scranton. Time to find the snow scraper! Quote
Sno Mountain Skier Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 OMG, I totally was looking at the weather forecast today too! Snow starting around Nov. 8th in Scranton. Time to find the snow scraper! You wont need the snow scraper. Those forecasts change daily until about 3 or 4 days before the day. But, I find that they are usually right with trends, like it will be cooler in the 15 day then warmer then average. Quote
Melissa Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Awww, can't you let a girl get excited?? Quote
rgrwilco Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 i can see it snowing. i remember it being in the forties at my ex's house in august, so why cant it snow in november? with last year and this year, i honestly would not be suprised. Quote
toast21602 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 an early snowfall would be nice... it will definitely put me in the mood. Quote
snowboarddude Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 i have been watching the 15 day for a month... i kno i have no life.. haha but according to the 15 day 10 days ago it was gunna be snowing on nov 3rd and 4th!!! i don't wanna be a party pooper but don't get to excited over it i wouldn't complanin if they are right!! Quote
snorovr Posted October 31, 2007 Author Report Posted October 31, 2007 accumulation.. Not likely but it gets me stoked just to see some snow flyin' around. any chance Blue will open in November??? Also not likely with the thaws we seem to be getting every year. Never know about the possibility of an impromptu railjam though... Quote
bigdaddyk Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I just got a 4wd Rav 4, so we probably won't get much snow . Quote
poconoceancity Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I just got a 4wd Rav 4, so we probably won't get much snow . Wow...not the stereotypical police vehicle. Most police I know drive pick ups. Quote
bigdaddyk Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Wow...not the stereotypical police vehicle. Most police I know drive pick ups. I wanted something that would get around better in the snow than my corolla. I also wanted something that wouldn't take a tank of gas to drive down the street. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Wow...not the stereotypical police vehicle. Most police I know drive pick ups. A cop at Lehigh drives a 700hp supra and his bro, also a cop in the lehigh valley, drives an M3...so much for your theory Quote
Bobert540 Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 What's the cops name at Lehigh? Quote
skifreak Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 It would be nice if it snowed on my bday, November 9th : Quote

I heard Lehigh University Cops are boyscouts? Quote

I heard Lehigh University Cops are boyscouts? nahhhh....they're real police with sick nasty cars....this was right outside my apartment....they've got a sick blacked out unmarked charger, as well Quote
Glenn Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 ... did Jeff just call a car that isn't a BMW, let alone American sick nasty? Quote
AtomicSkier Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 ... did Jeff just call a car that isn't a BMW, let alone American sick nasty? it's wishfull thinking that any american police department would drive anything european, but as far as police cars go....chargers FTW. Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 BMW's are great cars but good luck getting around in the snow and slop we get around here in the winter. When it snows the only pd vehicles I see are 4wd. They need to invest in some awd cars =) Quote

When it snows the only pd vehicles I see are 4wd. They need to invest in some awd cars =) you obviously haven't seen a BMW's snow prowess in the winter, with winter tires. When were at Belleayre, the BMW was handling everything GSS's Subie was, and then some Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 I didn't mean to keep this thread going off-topic but I guess I couldn't resist throwing a plug in there for AWD vehicles. I have yet to see a BMW with snow tires out in the snow. I am going to start a new thread in the lounge that way we aren't clogging this thread up more than we have... Quote
Kyle Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 the cops in my town have the chargers as well. they're not needed but who cares its a kick ass car Quote
