dolfman261 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 No one get in for free... i eamiled bear about it Quote
GNU_rider Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 I hope weather does permit because I wanna ride some rails now! Quote
Justo8484 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 why do you all expect to get into a competition for free because you have a pass? no where else lets you into comps for free just because you have a season pass. if they let everyone in for free, there would be no money for the prizes. Quote
dolfman261 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 figured they would try and make it free for the people who spent 300+ for their passes...I personally dont care cuz i didnt have to pay for my pass. Just tryin to help other ppl out. Quote
nick Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 People were trying to get in free before they knew it was a competition.....If its a competition yeah you should have to pay...but if its just for shits then we should get in free, we spent the money to buy a pass we should be able to ride. BUUUUUTTT since its a comp. for cash prizes i see no prob with having to pay. Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 This is straight from the event coordinator's mouth "If we are making snow on Saturday there will NOT be a rail jam or a Bonfire but the Movie would still be on." Keep checking the website for the most up to date information. Quote
toast21602 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 that makes zero sense. don't you kinda have to make snow for there to be a rail jam? Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 It means exactly what is says, If they are making snow there will not be a rail jam. Of course there has to be snow in place, but even if there is and they are making snow there will not be a rail jam. Quote
KevinThomas Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) ^ that's weird. what i get out of it is, pretty much there's not gonna be a rail jam?? haha i certainly hope there is! i'm stoked to shred bear! Edited November 29, 2007 by TheKevinThomas Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 I am just stating what I was told. I think it would be great to have the rail jam, but that's not up to me. Quote
KevinThomas Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 I am just stating what I was told. I think it would be great to have the rail jam, but that's not up to me. oh no worries bob-oh, i understand. i'm just as stoked to have one! i hope it goes down! Quote
snowboarddude Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 they are talking about the bonfire! the rail jam will still be on Quote
burton71 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 I'd rather have them blow snow and try and get open sooner then stop blowing for a rail jam and bonfire. Quote
GNU_rider Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Yeah I wasn't trying to get into a comp for free, I wanted to get in on it for free if there wasn't a comp I'd front 10 bucks to ride a comp who cares. Also I think I get what the statement meant, just that if they don't blow before saturday no jam; also I totally agree who cares about 4 or so rails it's better to just wait it out until mid to late next week. Quote
Rowsdower Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) I'm not really feeling another mud jam on two rails with 200 people around. I'll probably just wait until opening day. Edited November 29, 2007 by Rowsdower Quote

BC Iron Works Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I just wanted to give you guys an update on the rail jam. So far... We have not made a decision to cancel the rail Jam. We are gunna review snow and projected weather Saturday mid-day. We really dont want to cancel it if we dont have to. The weather for sunday is 50/50, so cross your fingers. But due to safety and what not, if there is bad conditions projected still tommorrow then it will be. Sorry for the Delay... I hope weather goes in our favor. ANDY Quote
BC Iron Works Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 I just wanted to let everyone out there know that we have Cancelled the December 2nd Rail Jam. We have had good snowmaking weather projected this last week and things have not panned out as planned. Most of our snow on the hill is a Dusting and/or pure ice. There is also a bad weather outlook for December 2nd. Freezing rain and sleet are not the safest conditions for a rail jam. There is also a possibility of travel advisorys for December 2nd. However, everyone that can safely make it out Tommorrow should still come out to our Movie premiers at 2pm. We will be showing Level 1 Productions "Realtime" featuring pennsylvania's own Tom Wallish, and First Tracks Productions "Hello, my name is..." I appoligize that we could not hold the Rail Jam as planned, but our riders safety and well being is very important to us. Take Care everyone, I hope to see everyone at the Premier! Andy Quote
