ski911
They started some of the guns at the top of Marjies just before noon yesterday(friday). Then kept lighting them up as the temps dropped (check the web cam). Looks like maybe a few warmer days early next week, but, they should get a bunch down this weekend. The plan is to have Marjies be one of the first this season!

method9455
boulder park isn't a bad run, its only 500 vert but decent pitch and nice and wide to crank out some early season turns, but that only opened today

jdew
The plan is to have Marjies be one of the first this season! That's great news. It will be a nice change from the usual Birches and King Tut for the first weekend of the season. This certainly could be viewed as a positive move for the customer. Thanks Camelback. method9455
Boulder Park is open as just a free trail which is fun (not to jack the thread though). You could see the snowmaking at Camelback from 80 it looked cool.
jordan
marjies was open on opening day 2 years ago, which also happened to be the best day of skiing ive ever had at CB, foot of fresh, and the grooming crew left marjies alone
librider
I was up there yesterday and they have a shitload of snow at the top of the quad.
Glenn
foot of fresh ... right. I have 8 inches in my journal. Wind drifts don't count for accumulation, you do know that right?
