I was bored and looking on local.live.com, and i came across this great pic of the base of Blue.

Looks like the reservoirs are empty in this shot.

 

Also, how much of the land do you think Blue owns to the east of Paradise? Would they ever expand into that area?

Wow, that's a lot of land to work with.

 

Since paradise sticks out so far, it seems like they'd have to make trails that re-connect with Paradise, or build another lift in the middle of the forest and have a bunch of trails that end there. The latter seems like a better idea, but more costly.

 

Personally, I feel like they should have cut the new trail first (the one opening next yet) and then installed the 6-pack. I typically ski on weekends since I have school in Philly during the week...so it seemed like the trails were more crowded during the days. I know we all want to see more downhill capacity, and more trails.
