Glenn Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 ah lovely. so that means that sidewinder and razors will be closed sunday mornings. i can't wait! No its all good, I heard they have a new trail to increase downhill capacity... :banghead Quote
toast21602 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 No its all good, I heard they have a new trail to increase downhill capacity... hahahahaha. oh wait... Quote
KevinThomas Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 ah lovely. so that means that sidewinder and razors will be closed sunday mornings. i can't wait! i would hope not. there's no reason they couldnt just set up those fences to close off a few rails, to keep competitors in that area and everyone else out. it worked for the pond skim and palmerton dumpster box race (if i remember correctly at least, they had fences set up there) so they should just do the same to box off a jib feature or two. toast21602 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 but will they? doubtful. that makes way too much sense. it would be a good idea because then people could actually watch, so maybe they will. who knows. it's Blue. Quote
Justo8484 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 so... atomic and palmer as ski sponsors... sweeeeeeeet Quote
Park Crue Posted November 28, 2007 Author Report Posted November 28, 2007 i would hope not. there's no reason they couldnt just set up those fences to close off a few rails, to keep competitors in that area and everyone else out. it worked for the pond skim and palmerton dumpster box race (if i remember correctly at least, they had fences set up there) so they should just do the same to box off a jib feature or two. Wow !!! Some one here today, with brains ... That's postin' Kevin. You're right on the money. Quote
snorovr Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 so... atomic and palmer as ski sponsors... sweeeeeeeet When is the last time you saw someone win a pair of skis in a comp and not turn around and sell them? Don't forget Roxy God forbid girls might come out to a comp... Quote
GSSucks Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 palmerton dumpster box race Thats a good line there KT one of the best references i have ever heard about that race. Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 T, I was just commenting on the ski sponsors themselves. I think more girls should come out to the comps, but it is usually only a small amount. Quote
Justo8484 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 When is the last time you saw someone win a pair of skis in a comp and not turn around and sell them? thats exactly my point. no one buys atomic or palmer twins. Quote
snorovr Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 thats exactly my point. no one buys atomic or palmer twins. Then your point is poorly argued in this context, given that I've seen lots of people turn around and sell skis that you might find more desirable won at railjams, premiers, etc... Furthermore, people DO buy Atomic twins. You might not be that big a fan and I must admit that I'm not either, but they have a pretty big range in their freeride line that a lot of people like and have used succesfully. Quote
toast21602 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 if you sell it, they will buy. Quote
Justo8484 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 we shall see. i'll be happy if they just set stuff up well and close it off to people not participating so we can hit a good setup without fear of landing on a three year old and their clueless parents. Quote
KevinThomas Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 so... atomic and palmer as ski sponsors... sweeeeeeeet WAH! i'm so stoked that blue is doing this. for them to throw together a jam every sunday is awesome. by having one each sunday it gives people a lot of chances to compete in a little bit smaller, more relaxed format. and the more events, the better. at least they're catching on to that. i know this may not be the right thread for this, and redirect this post if you feel obligated mods, but keith...big air this year?? toast21602 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 i know this may not be the right thread for this, and redirect this post if you feel obligated mods, but keith...big air this year?? big air would be the greatest thing Blue has done since.... well since they first had it and then got rid of it. Justo8484 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 big air would be the greatest thing Blue has done since.... well since they first had it and then got rid of it. big air was awesome! Quote
Bobert540 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Big air was fun to watch, It would be sweet if the used falls again.... Quote
toast21602 Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 big air was awesome! and thats why they should bring it back. maybe they could put all the art sculptures that they made and put it behind the jump as like a gap-sorta-thing... and then light them all on fire. man that would be a great photo shoot. Big--Ben Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 The rail jams sound like an awesome idea as long as they dont close off the whole trail. And I would love to see a big air comp again Quote
snorovr Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 Ya I'd really love to see big air on Falls happen. Quote
